CBF-LA Disaster Response

Together, our efforts are leveraged into Kingdom work beyond the sum of our individual efforts. From the beginning the Fellowship has formed
around the idea of being missional.

Beginning at home we have focused in East Carroll Parish, one of the 20 poorest parishes/counties in Ameica and in nearby Tensas parish to walk along side and bring hope. Marc Boswell directs this work as CBF-LA's full time state missionary dedicated to the Together for Hope Rural Poverty Initiative.

We partner with and support the national Fellowship Global mission effort to reach the most neglected. Louisiana native Keith Holmes and his wife Mary van Rheenen have worked for a number of years in Europe with the Romany (Gypsies) and have developed a partnership with the Lousisana Fellowship.

Disaster response has been a critical work in Louisiana since Katrina and continues.

Minister peer learning groups support a vital need of nurture for pastors and are one piece of our overall mandate to deepen our life of prayer and spiritual formation.

The Spirit keeps us ever moving forward to the fulfillment of God's kingdom. Our future work takes form in providing scholarships for future leaders and supporting the planting and growing of churches.

Read, pray, support and be challenged as you learn of these ministries.
